Handcrafted in small batches, the chowder is made with Lummi Island Wild Reefnet Salmon, cream, and fresh ingredients, including red potatoes, organic corn, onions, and celery. Naturally gluten free and simply delicious, we promise this will be the best salmon chowder you can order online. The chowder is packaged in shelf-stable pouches and can be heated in the microwave or on the stove top.

How to Prepare Smoked Wild Salmon Chowder
If you order salmon chowder from Lummi Island Wild, prepare for a comforting blend of tastes and textures. Cooking our chowder is as easy as heating up soup. This chowder is packaged in single-serving pouches. When you’re ready to eat, simply spoon the chowder into a saucepan and heat on the stove until warm. You can also transfer the chowder into a microwave-safe bowl or container and heat for several minutes.
Some prefer to prepare this chowder with milk or cream, stirring the dairy into the pot as it warms. If you want a slightly silkier consistency, we recommend trying this technique to thin the soup. Around ¼ cup of milk should do the trick, but let your preference be the guide.
No matter which heating option you choose, simply serve and enjoy once warmed to your liking. We like to eat ours with seeded crackers or crusty bread.
Handling Instructions
Our smoked salmon chowder is shelf stable and requires no specialized handling. Like our other non-perishable foods, it is normally shipped via Ground and scheduled to arrive within 3 to 7 business days. You will need to refrigerate pouches after opening, but we don’t anticipate this being a problem – the chowder is so delicious that you’ll be reaching for a second serving. You’ll never order salmon chowder from anywhere else.

Unbelievably delicious chowder! I bought several (since it’s shelf stable) and have given them as gifts to my friends and family. My only complaint is the richness- and the amount. When heated and poured in a mug, it only fills it up to 2/3ds full and has enough calories for a full meal; 300+. So I advised my sister to thin it down with milk and consider it a full meal with some crackers. (we’re all over 60 so calories and fat are a big deal) Otherwise- simply super chowder.
