Description
Ikura salt cured salmon roe and caviar is popular the world over. It is a superfood, very rich in omega 3 fatty acids, and good for brain development and immune systems, especially those of children.
Our Reefnet Chum Ikura comes from the sustainably harvested salmon we catch on our Reefnet gears, and is number 1 quality. Reefnet-caught Keta (Chum) salmon are immediately live-bled, then put on slush ice, before being taken directly to the processor’s. This makes for some of the best quality salmon roe in the world! Seriously, if we could give this a higher rating than #1 quality, we would. It is just that good.
Chum Salmon Roe has a fresh, clean flavor with a firm pop and minimal juice.

I enjoyed the chum salmon roes that were larger than the coho. The taste was really good. The salmon roes were popping in my mouth.
