Description
This King Ikura – salt cured salmon roe – has a bright, red-orange color and clean, salty flavor. Smaller egg size (around 2.5mm), with a very light “pop” and mouthfeel. These eggs have a higher salt finish and would go very well with a soft cheese or on top of a sushi roll.
Our King Salmon Ikura comes from wild, Salish Sea King (Chinook) Salmon and is produced with a custom 2.6% brine, which preserves the clean flavor without adding too much sodium to your diet.
Salmon roe is a superfood which is very rich in omega 3 fatty acids, and good for brain development and immune systems, especially those of children. Sought by caviar lovers everywhere, salted wild salmon roe (Ikura) has become a prized delicacy.
This King Salmon Ikura can be eaten in sushi rolls, served as an appetizer with crackers and a soft cheese, or simply eaten on its own. There is no wrong way to eat salmon roe and it is a healthy, rewarding snack.

I m not new to your fishery business. Before I moved to Sequim I was in a buying club in SF. Recently I was struck down by Covid and needed to treat myself with high end, nutrient dense food. Lummi island fish is all I was craving. I was, once again, super impressed by the high end quality of your products. Everything else was high end too at a fair price for what I received. Customer service was prompt and awesome. The packaging and the time it all arrived was tops. You all deserve 5 stars. I m looking forward to my next order and hoping I can get a new buying club started in Sequim/WA.

This ikura is great! Made it last for a few days — had it on Ritz crackers. Yum!

It’s good! This was my first time ordering salmon roe, other than restaurants, I’ve never purchased before. It’s good. Not as good as you might get from a finer dining sushi place. It IS salty, I like salt so this isn’t too much of a deterrent for me. I’d probably check out other companies before ordering from here again, but the price is really good compared to other places.

Thank you Hannah, Try the premium Ikura for lower salt. The sale ikura has smaller roe, which makes it taste like a higher salt content.

It was a very quick delivery. The color is bright orange, looks very fresh and tastes amazing. Not very salty, or dry. I will order more.

Their Ikura King Salmon Caviar is the best Ikura I have ever tasted. Buying it regularly for more than a year. Always arrives frozen.

The caviar was perfect! And so tasty that it took all of my willpower to not eat the whole tray in one sitting!
