Ingredients:
- 2 coho portions
- 1 jar Wild Salmon Miso Bone Broth

I live in NC and have been going to the coast all my life. We love fresh seafood and go to a small fishing villages to buy fresh to bring home. Usually shrimp, scallops or flounder.
Our local grocery mostly carries farm raised salmon so I rarely buy at home. After a month of cooking this coho salmon I’m so pleased with my purchase!
The first time, following a recipe, I overcooked at 20 min at 400. Next time, 12 min at 400 worked well. This coho salmon is super lean which can make it dry quickly if you overcook. I cut small slits in the salmon and added thin half slices of butter plus brushed with olive oil, added chopped garlic, salt pepper, grated parmesan, lemon slice, then finished with fresh flat left parsley. This worked well and I really love the flavor plus how easy it is to cook.
Initially I thought a 6oz portion would be small however it’s really a perfect portion. The portions do not look like the restaurant quality picture on the website. Much thinner and wider which doesn’t really impact flavor if you don’t overcook.
Will definitely order again and love how easy to pull from freezer and have salmon once a week. My husband is a big steak lover and now that I perfected my cooking method, he enjoyed eating coho salmon too. Highly recommend and will order again.

Love, love, love this salmon and can’t wait to try other products. Made it in my Instant Pot, using the trivet. Put in water, then basmati rice, then trivet, and seasoned salmon. Seasoned the salmon fillet with on tablespoon of light mayo and some dill. Pressure cooked for 6 minutes, waited five minutes and released manually. I have been eating salmon in various ways for decades and this is the best I have ever tasted. Sorry if the recipe was TMI but I am now a great fan of Lummi Island and my Instant Pot!
