Ikura salt cured salmon roe and caviar is popular the world over. It is a superfood, very rich in omega 3 fatty acids, and good for brain development and immune systems, especially those of children. How do you ship?
Perishable orders ship via UPS 2nd Day Air Carbon Neutral, packed with enough Dry Ice to ensure your order arrives frozen. Non-perishable items ship standard ground-arriving 3-5 days from the selected shipping date.
* Shipments cannot be delivered to a PO BOX.
How do I track my order?
You will receive an email to the address used during checkout with your tracking number once your order has shipped. If you do not see an email in your inbox, please check your junk and spam folder!
How do you keep products cold during transit?
We pack your order with enough dry ice or frozen gel packs based on the destination of your package to keep things frozen. Dry ice will dissipate during transit and if none is visible in your box, that is ok.
Do you offer Local Pick up?
We offer curbside pickup! Please place your order online. You can select local pickup during checkout. We ask that you specify the day and time you want to come by in the notes section or come by Monday-Friday 10am- 1:30pm
Do you offer a gift note service for online orders?
Messages to recipients can be left in the Notes section during checkout. This message will appear on the packing slip and does not include prices.

As an additional comment, I’d like to second the idea of smaller fozen packages. I think 1 pound packages with four sections would be perfect. I had to try to score the frozen pound of roe with a large knife (dangerous)- then break in half on the edge of the counter- then freeze the rest. Lots of broken eggs when thawed. Still tasty – but not a perfect solution.

I find that every January I must have a type of vitamin deficiency- because I order some sort of roe without fail. This year was the same, and I tried Lummi Island for a change. I thought initially it was *way* too salty- but after rinsing with plain water it was much better. (cold water only!) Then with the addition of a sour note (sour cream, lemon juice, or mayonnaise) on cracker it was excellent. I thought the price was great- and I’ll reorder.

This year I ordered 4 pounds, it was different salmon species.
It tasted good, came in 1lb containers. One particular batch was very salty. I could hardly finish it.
Overall is good quality and has no preservatives.

It is fresh, has very good taste, has no any additives or preservatives: only caviar and salt. It is not over-salted. What is why it has so great taste! This caviar has highest quality grade for Keta Caviar, and it is not too wet and not too dry, it has whole, undamaged eggs. You buy not liquid with some caviar eggs, like in most of local stores, but Real Red Caviar! Lummi Island Wild company sell the best red caviar I tried in US and Canada. I am originally from Scandinavia area, where red caviar is very valuable and uses as delicatessen food for thousands years. This company has also outstanding customer service and care. First time My wife and I have had Salmon Roe and we loved it. Ordered 3lbs, froze 2 and have one in the fridge. I did have a question, how long is the salmon roe frozen and at what temp? Is the salmon roe ready for consumption directly out of the packaging or do you recommend washing/rinsing? Maybe I should have asked these questions before shoveling spoon fulls in my mouth…lol

Our #1 Keta Ikura can be frozen for up to 2 years from the package date. It is ready to eat as soon as it thaws, no need for additional rinsing, and don’t be surprised if it disappears fast! We hope you enjoyed!

Very delicious caviar and good price. I ordered 3 pounds and got free shipping great deal. The only thing i would like batter if the tray was seperated into two half pound sections so you wouldnt have to defrost the whole tray, could just cut it in half and eat smaller portions. Seen some on other websites.

The quality is very good, but lower rating is due to high price compared to what retailers are charging and what I used to pay in prior years. As a part of the club, buying a lot of quantities and being member for many years, I would expect better pricing or at least free shipping.
