WHAT SETS REEFNET SALMON APART?
Flavor in salmon is directly related to how much fat it has. When a salmon leaves the ocean to return to its natal stream, it stops eating and must rely on stored fat for the remainder of its life as it makes its journey home. The further the salmon must travel to spawn, and the mightier its river of origin, the more fat it will have genetically developed and stored so it can make its most important life sustaining journey home.
Reefnetting is considered one of the ten most sustainable fisheries in the world. Click here to learn more about how these incredible, wild caught salmon.

Lummi Island Wild was wonderful to work with. I had a complicated order during the holidasy and despite snow delays and the holiday rush, they were super helpful. We will definitely order from them again.

The fillets look great! Rich dark red flesh, uniform fillets, and I can’t wait to grill them. These fillets look better than the runs of the past two years.

Delicious fish, as always. We’ve been buying for so many years I can’t remember how long!
Recently, we ordered whole salmon fillets.
2 of the fillets had broken packages. One was open the entire length of the fish, the other just a few inches. We opened the box by hand, not with something sharp so it wasn’t caused by the way we handled the package. The box wasn’t damaged when it was delivered. I’m glad we noticed so we could re-package our purchase.
I’m not sure what would have caused this.

Hi Carole, Unfortunately it sounds like your salmon received some rough handling before delivery. Thanks for you quick work protecting the high quality we are so focused on. We’ll be following up with you.

The freshest and tastiest I’ve had. I like to blacken mine and it came absolutely perfect! Looking forward to my next order already.

Buttery, flavorful, and delicious. I slowly grill these fillets slathered in BBQ sauce, and serve with fresh corn fritters and Claremont salad. Wonderful summer dinner!

This keeps us healthy through N.E. winters. It is amazing. Have been getting LIW for at least the past 15 years. It’s the best and sustainably caught. Been there once to see the power of these creatures fighting the net.

We have bought Reefnet Sockeye from Lummi Island for the last 4 years and kept them in our chest freezer. This salmon is superior to every grocery store fillet I have ever purchased, and I feel much better knowing about its origin and correct handling. The frozen fillets are always pristine, cook beautifully, and have perfect tasty skin. Make sure you don’t overcook them!
